From a small team with a big vision to one of Malaysia's most recognised online gaming platforms — here's the story behind sedayu88.
Sedayu88 was founded with a clear purpose: to give Malaysian players a genuinely world-class online gaming experience without having to navigate platforms built for foreign markets. From day one, the platform was designed around how Malaysians actually play — on mobile, in MYR, using the payment methods they use every day.
In the early years, our team focused tirelessly on the fundamentals: fast and reliable deposits and withdrawals, a game library that balanced breadth with quality, and a customer support function that actually resolved issues — not just acknowledged them.
"We didn't build sedayu88 for gamblers in the abstract. We built it for the football fan in Petaling Jaya watching an EPL Saturday fixture, and the slots enthusiast in Johor Bahru looking for their next favourite game."
Over seven years of operation, sedayu88 has grown steadily — not through shortcuts, but through consistently doing right by our players. Word-of-mouth from satisfied members in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Shah Alam, and Bangsar has been our strongest growth engine. Today, over 500,000 registered members trust sedayu88 with their entertainment and their money.
Platform goes live with a core library of slots and sports betting markets. The founding team establishes MYR as the primary currency and integrates FPX and early Malaysian bank transfers from launch day.
Live dealer tables — baccarat, blackjack, roulette — are added to the platform, bringing real-time studio action to Malaysian players who previously had to use separate platforms for table games.
The entire sedayu88 platform is rebuilt for mobile-first performance. Players in Subang Jaya and Petaling Jaya can now enjoy a seamless experience on any smartphone browser with no app download required.
As Malaysian e-wallet adoption surged, sedayu88 was among the first online gaming platforms to integrate Touch 'n Go eWallet, DuitNow, Boost, and GrabPay — offering instant deposits for millions of users.
Sedayu88 crosses the 500,000 member milestone — a landmark driven entirely by organic growth and player referrals. The VIP programme and birthday bonus scheme are introduced to reward long-term loyalty.
A full platform refresh is completed with faster load times, an expanded slot library of 2,800+ games, enhanced sports betting markets covering Liga Super Malaysia, EPL, UFC, and more — and improved responsible gambling tools for every member.
Everything we build and every decision we make at sedayu88 comes back to these principles.
To provide Malaysian players with a safe, fair, and genuinely enjoyable online gaming environment — backed by fast local payment methods, an extensive game library, and support that actually helps.
To be the most trusted name in online gaming among Malaysian players — not through the loudest marketing, but through the most consistent delivery of quality, security, and care for our members.
We operate transparently. Our Terms & Conditions are written in plain English — no deliberate obscurity. If something changes, we communicate it clearly and promptly to all members.
Every product decision — from withdrawal speed to bonus structure to responsible gambling tools — is evaluated by asking: does this genuinely serve the player? If the answer is no, it does not ship.
All games on sedayu88 use independently tested Random Number Generators (RNG). No game outcomes are manipulated. What you see in the published RTP percentages is what the game delivers over time.
We take problem gambling seriously. Deposit limits, session time reminders, and voluntary self-exclusion tools are built into every sedayu88 account — and our 21+ age requirement is non-negotiable.
Six reasons why Malaysian players choose sedayu88 over the alternatives.
All balances, deposits, withdrawals, bonuses, and promotional amounts are displayed and processed in MYR. There are no hidden currency conversion fees or delays caused by foreign exchange processing.
Withdrawal requests for verified accounts are processed rapidly — typically within one business session. We maintain a strong liquidity position so that player payouts are never delayed by operational constraints.
Sedayu88 covers Liga Super Malaysia alongside the EPL, La Liga, Champions League, UFC, and more. Malaysian football fans get the local context they want alongside the international markets they follow.
256-bit SSL encryption is applied across the entire platform. Player funds are held in segregated accounts, separate from operational finances, so your balance is protected regardless of business circumstances.
Our 24/7 live support team is staffed by people who know the platform inside out. Live chat response times are kept under 2 minutes during peak hours, and complex issues are escalated within the same session wherever possible.
Our bonus programme is structured for long-term players, not one-time sign-ups. Birthday bonuses, a tiered VIP programme, referral rewards with no cap, and regular reload promotions make staying with sedayu88 genuinely worthwhile.
Being Malaysia-focused is not just a marketing angle for sedayu88 — it is a genuine operating principle. We actively monitor what Malaysian players need and adjust our product accordingly. When Touch 'n Go eWallet became the dominant Malaysian payment method, we were among the earliest online gaming platforms to integrate it. When Malaysian players expressed frustration with withdrawal delays that were common across the industry, we restructured our payout process to address it.
Our entire English-language platform reflects the Malaysian context: prices in RM, sports markets aligned with Malaysian fan preferences, and promotional structures that match the way Malaysian players actually engage with gaming platforms.
We also take our responsibilities seriously. Gambling is entertainment, and we are committed to ensuring it stays that way for our members. Our responsible gambling programme — including deposit limits, loss limits, session timers, and self-exclusion — is available to every sedayu88 account holder at no cost and with no penalisation.
From Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya to Penang, Johor Bahru, Shah Alam, and Kota Kinabalu — sedayu88 serves players nationwide with equal speed and service quality.
Over 80% of Malaysian internet usage is mobile. Sedayu88's platform is built and tested for mobile-first performance — no app required, just a browser and a data connection.
Sedayu88 operates entirely in clear, professional English — the working language for most Malaysian professionals and the preferred language for digital services among our core user base.
Our support team is most heavily staffed during Malaysian peak hours — 9am to midnight MYT — ensuring you get fast, knowledgeable help when you actually need it.
Sedayu88 is committed to responsible gambling practices. Our platform is strictly for players aged 21 and above. We provide deposit limits, session time reminders, loss limits, and voluntary self-exclusion tools to every account holder. Gambling is intended as entertainment — never as a source of income.
